Detection
Vigilar™ sensors built into ANetD endpoints can intelligently detect gunshots — additional threat detection capabilities, including glass breaking and aggression (spoken keywords) are in development. Or, an authorized staff member presses a Smart IP Button.
Response Protocol Initiation
ANetD ClockWise Campus or compatible third-party software receives a detection signal—whether it’s from Vigilar sensors, a Smart IP Button, or integrated weather alert or fire alarm system—and initiates external or internal response protocols.
Notification
For an active assailant threat, the software instantly, silently, and directly places a 911 call with a prerecorded message to law enforcement detailing the location and nature of the emergency in compliance with Alyssa’s Law. Simultaneously, the system activates a facility-wide protocol such as a Code Red SRP Lockdown or fire or weather emergency. System IP endpoints (IP displays, speakers, or strobes) convey visual or audible notifications by emergency type and protocol.
Resolution
While the emergency protocol is in effect, facility occupants receive guidance via endpoints located in the facility or mobile devices. Meanwhile, designated off-premise individuals—law enforcement, first responders, family—receive emergency updates on mobile devices. These notifications minimize confusion and save critical time until the threat ends.
